Facilities Directory
The Facilities Directory is a searchable database of Ontario healthcare facilities. Use it to look up facility master numbers when creating claims for hospital-based services.
Searching
Navigate to Reference > Facilities in the sidebar. Search by:
- Facility name — the name of the hospital, clinic, or long-term care home
- Type — Hospital, Long-Term Care, Clinic, Community Health Centre, etc.
- Region — filter by geographic area
- Master number — search by the facility’s OHIP master number directly
Facility Details
Click on any facility to see:
- Master number — the unique identifier used in OHIP claims
- Facility name and type
- Location — address, city, and region
- Type code — the OHIP facility type classification
Using Facilities in Claims
When creating a claim that requires a facility (e.g., hospital-based services), the facility field searches this directory. Start typing the facility name or master number to find it.
Favourites and Defaults
- Click the star icon to add a facility to your favourites
- Set a facility as your default in Settings — it will auto-fill when creating new claims
Geolocation
With location access enabled, the directory shows facilities sorted by distance from your current location.
