The AI Chatbot is a conversational assistant that can answer questions about OHIP billing, look up codes, analyze your claims, and provide recommendations.

Accessing the Chatbot

Click AI Chatbot in the sidebar to open the chat interface. Your conversation history is saved, so you can return to previous chats at any time.

What You Can Ask

Billing Code Lookups

  • “What is billing code A007?”
  • “What codes can I bill for a consultation?”
  • “What’s the fee for E502?”
  • “Is A888 available for family medicine?”

Diagnostic Code Lookups

  • “What diagnostic code should I use for diabetes?”
  • “Look up diagnostic code 250”

Claim Questions

  • “Show me my rejected claims this month”
  • “What’s my total billing for this week?”
  • “Why was claim #12345 rejected?”
  • “How many claims are pending submission?”

Billing Rules

  • “Can I bill A007 and A004 on the same day?”
  • “What are the age restrictions for A003?”

Financial Summaries

Artifacts

When the chatbot generates structured data (tables, summaries, code lookups), it displays the results in a formatted artifact panel alongside the chat. This makes it easy to read tables and compare data without scrolling through chat messages.

Chat History

Your conversations are saved in the sidebar. Click any previous chat to resume it. The chatbot remembers the context of each conversation, so you can ask follow-up questions naturally.

Tips

  • Be specific in your questions for better results
  • The chatbot has access to your claims data, patient records, and the full Schedule of Benefits
  • It cannot modify your data — it’s read-only and safe to use freely
