Notifications

Configure which email notifications SnapBill sends you from Settings > Notifications.

Available Notifications

Submission Alerts

  • Submission confirmation — email when a claim batch is successfully uploaded to MCEDT
  • Submission errors — email if a submission fails or encounters issues

Payment Alerts

  • Remittance received — email when new remittance advice is downloaded from OHIP
  • Payment processed — email when claim payments are reconciled

Error Notifications

  • Claim rejections — email when claims are rejected by OHIP
  • Health card issues — email when a health card validation fails

Deadline Reminders

  • Submission deadline approaching — reminder when claims are nearing the 90-day submission window
  • RAI deadline approaching — reminder when rejected claims are approaching the 7-month RAI window

Managing Preferences

Toggle each notification type on or off. All notifications are sent to the email address on your account profile.

Email Format

Notification emails include:

  • A clear summary of the event
  • Relevant claim or patient details
  • A direct link to the affected item in SnapBill

All notification emails are sent from SnapBill and contain no sensitive patient data in the subject line.
