Dashboard Overview

The dashboard is your home screen. It provides a high-level summary of your billing activity and quick access to common actions.

Layout

The left sidebar organizes the app into sections:

  • Dashboard — analytics and recent activity
  • Claims — your claims list and claim creation
  • Snap — AI-powered document scanning
  • AI Chatbot — ask billing questions in natural language
  • Patients — your patient directory

Collapsible groups for less-frequent sections:

  • Billing — invoices and tax reports
  • Operations — submissions and reports
  • Tools — private billing, health card checker, corrections, data import
  • Reference — Schedule of Benefits, physicians, and facilities

Settings and Admin (if applicable) are at the bottom of the sidebar.

Main Content Area

The center of the screen displays the current page. Most pages include:

  • A search bar and filters at the top
  • A data table or card grid for browsing records
  • Action buttons for creating or modifying items

Privacy Mode

Click the eye icon in the header to toggle privacy mode. When enabled, sensitive information like patient names, health card numbers, and dollar amounts are masked throughout the app. This is useful when presenting your screen or working in shared spaces.

Analytics

The dashboard home page displays:

  • Revenue metrics — total billed, paid, and pending amounts
  • Recent claims — your latest claim activity
  • Submission status — pending, queued, and submitted counts
  • Billing timeline — upcoming deadlines and payment dates

Mobile App

On mobile devices, the sidebar collapses into a bottom tab bar with the core navigation items. The full menu is accessible via the hamburger icon. All features are available on mobile, with layouts optimized for smaller screens.

Keyboard Shortcuts

Press Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows) to open the command palette. From there you can quickly navigate to any page, search for patients, or jump to a claim.
